Yoga & Nidra - Deep Relaxation and Rejuvenation

Sunday 26th October 4.30pm - 6.00pm


Samhain, or Halloween, is the point between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice. It is an opportunity to reflect and release; to find gratitude for what we have learnt or gained during the year; to consider our ancestors and their gifts to us. We'll take these themes into our practice, and find deep rest and a sense of readiness for the darker months to come.

The relaxing yoga involves longer held (yin-style) physical poses with plenty of use of props to support the body. There will be personally tailored options, and restorative poses & gentle movement between the longer held poses. This provides an overall experience of calm yin energy (rather than faster moving yang energy), which allows the fascia (connective tissues wrapping our organs and muscles) to release.
